Just off the main street as we leave town is an old Stone home. There is some laundry hanging in the back and on the far right side a small stone structure with slats we’re not sure what it is. Some have guessed maybe a chicken coop

We walked through a Short tunnel under the road and into a less urban area. There are some beautiful colors of flowers along the trail and in previous posts I’ve talked about how I enjoy the colors of moss on trees along this section. We have a number of trees that are covered with a green ivy which I find equally as beautiful with their contrasting colors.
Stopping to photograph, identify flowers that stand out to me are one of my ways of slowing myself down on the trail
After passing by many more beautiful flowers, some open fields and some houses with their own beautiful view We enter another small town. We pass a small cathedral. It has a very narrow front courtyard. Therefore, getting a picture is a little difficult with an odd angle looking at.
There is a number of small stores and cafés along the strip that many of the team have stopped in to purchase items. I purchased my Camino shell. The shell is a symbol of the trail and hangs from the rear of our backpacks
Both in the middle of town and as we left town, there were monuments with Jesus on the cross
We have met a couple of women from Barcelona, Marie Antonia & Anna. They have confirmed that the Stone storage buildings are for drying grain off of the ground. and of course, more flowers
The roadway has been a fairly steady uphill grade with more flowers; as the road turns we continue straight up on a dirt road that is nicely shaded.
I’ve seen an occasional goat in a yard. These are the first that I’ve seen outside of the yard although there are ropes tying these two to the fence.
More flowers and a house that has ducks in a pen in the Backyard.

This is a blue crown passion flower. On its very top are three brown stems that depict the nails add feet and arms of Christ. The crucifix portion sits above a crown of yellow flowers… it is amazing. God shows us Jesus when we look for him.
After leaving the restaurant, we enter a forested area with large granite tables and bracken ferns covering the forest floor
We continue on a steep downhill grade; again, with more flowers, to a Vista area with beautiful view of the valley.
After admiring the vista we continued downhill past many more beautiful flowers along the way.
We stopped for silly pictures at a Saint Paul statue with a face cut out before entering a normal urban area.
We arrive in a more urban area as we entered the main town for tonight, passed one more cathedral and it’s crucifixion monuments.
We then entered the old portion of town with many older Stone buildings on the way to our hostal for the night.
