I woke up at the park stage around 6am. I laid for an hour enjoying doing nothing.
A local church uses the stage on mornings for outdoor service so I went to breakfast across the street at the Kopper Kettle restaurant. I had corn beef hash. Then went back to the park for church.
The church service was fantastic. I loved the worship music, and The Message was a story about God’s timing and situation’s. That are his timing not coincidence.
For lunch I took a walk down to the pizza restaurant and had a sandwich and then returned to the park where I relaxed for the day. I ate some of my leftover Hiking meals for dinner, and just gave my body time to recover.
Tomorrow morning I catch a 6:45 AM bus to Susanville and transfer to a second one taking me to a Reno where my uncle will pick me up and take me to my cousins house in Tahoe. I will be there for the week waiting for next weekend‘s family reunion. It did not make sense to go down to cure Sarge pass for just a couple of days before I will need to come back out. Not to mention the severe weather that is supposed to impact the area. I would be hiking in. What was that message today at the church service? God is so perfect.
