Day 81 Zero at Burney

After waking up we went to the Blackberry Patch Restaurant for breakfast. It may seem like a luxury to eat out in town, but this far into the hike it's actually a necessity.  We need to get as many calories in to make up for the deficit we experience on trail.

After eating we went to  the laundromat and washed our clothes. I was able to use the waiting time to update the blog for the last few days on trail.

Following our laundry chore we inventoried our food needs and headed to the store. I put together my food bags for me next six days we will be on trail.

My shirt has developed another hole in the armpit so I sewed it up again.

We spent the last part of the day reviewing trail comments and trying to anticipate our needed daily miles to cover the next 90 miles with possible 20-30 miles of snow. We are planning on 6 days with part of tomorrow set aside to explore Burney Falls.

One last shower and off to bed, well really my spot on the floor, but it is warm.
