Arayat Papampanga, Philippines Day 4

After a fantastic breakfast at the hotel we again loaded up in our vans to the city of Arayat Papampanga. We were blessed with light traffic because it was a national holiday in the Philippines. We arrived to a newer facility which has a large meeting room and stage. It is a part of Irma's home which is an orphanage housing many kids. Today was a largest day with approximately 260 children. We repeated our VBS program and again handed out gift bags to all of the children present.

We again boarded our vans for a short trip to the original Irma's facility. Currently all of the children live at this site.  We learned that the new site also has dormitory rooms and soon all of the males would be moving there with the females remaining at this original site. We started with a delicious homemade lunch.

After lunch we toured the facility ad visited with more of the children who had returned form the previous meeting location. Many of them proudly displayed the shirts they had decorated during our VBS time.

We once again poured blessings and appreciation into the staff and handed out their food a gift bags. We knew it was meaningful as evidenced by the many tears shed in the room.

After blessing the staff we took some team photos for the staff and I then had a chance to visit with the child I sponsor. He is shy, but slowly warmed up in conversation.

Back in the vans to the hotel, and then a short walk to dinner before returning to our rooms after another long day.
