We woke up, ready to go have some breakfast at the hotel. My brother Todd and his wife Alison arrived. They are our Trail angels for today! Thank you so much brother. I love you. We got in the car and headed from Ridgecrest to Paradise Valley cafe where we left two weeks ago to flip north.
We have lunch at Paradise Valley Café, said our goodbyes, and got right back on trail where we flipped from continuing north with 200 miles more than when we left here.
We started at 1:30 going up into the San Jacinto range. I got a little bit of the trail on this video, and will get back into the mode of taking some pictures and updating our progress.
The trail has gotten back into the rock typical of this area. I am fascinated looking at the formations.
Beautiful Valley off to the left of the trail and mount San Jacinto snow covered straight ahead.

More incredible granite faces continue to surround us.
As we continue up trail the valley off to our left continues to grow
About a mile before camp we went off trail a quarter-mile about 400 feet down to a water trough filled up water for tonight and tomorrow’s hike.
We got into camp set up amongst a couple other hikers made dinner ready for bed.
Today’s miles 7.8 Total trail miles 360.4.
(PCT mile mark 159.7 due to Flip completion of 200.7)
