Day 49 snow!
Woke up this morning to a couple of inches of snow on the ground and continuing snowfall
We walked a few blocks down for lunch and a light snow. It stopped by the time we were done. It quickly melted and was mostly gone in town by mid afternoon. I will see how much stuck in the mountains tomorrow.
Jeff and Ellen, part of our trial family from a week or so ago, made it to Wrightwood, and State in the same cabin with us today. It was nice visiting with them more. We spent the evening looking at some of their YouTube videos from their channel “journeys with Jeff and Ellen” it’s kind of need to see ourselves and somebody else’s video. Unfortunately, they do have more family business they need to attend to this weekend and will be back off trail until Monday.
Today was another day of body rest and recuperation. I will be starting the trail again tomorrow and heading towards Mount Baden Powell.
