Back to Paranaque, Philippines day 6

This morning we packed a change of clothes and wore athletic clothing. Born i Zion Church had arranged a sports competition with the kids and staff from yesterday! We arrived a a local gymnasium that had a large basketball court on the upper floor. We divided into four teams mixed with staff, kids, and our District group.

The Philippines is hot and humid. Luckily, we were in a nice building with A/C for today's activities. Following some competitive games we handed out more gift bags to those children who had not come yesterday, and loaded back up for a short drive to the Churches worship building for another fantastic lunch and fellowship time. We again gave out food and gift bags to the volunteer child champions, the bags are pictured on the hotel carts from our morning load up. And as we have come to learn, traffic is always bad in the Philippines.

We returned to the hotel and again walked to dinner at a local restaurant with a large selection of raw foods that you take to your table and cook in a table mounted grill and soup pot. if you haven't yet picked up on it, meal time is a big deal in the Philippines!
