We started the morning at Robert‘s house did a little more fellowship, delicious breakfast and then he brought us to town.
Shortly after getting dropped off in big bear city, we were picked up by Kenny a local PCT hiker host. He took us to pick up some lunch and then back to his home where he provides a bed showers, laundry and breakfast.
A few other hikers also stayed at Kenny’s. In the morning when we were picked up was One-Way, who we had bumped into during our flip, he was SOBO, and Uncle.
“Mantis” (on the left) and “Day One” arrived in the afternoon.
We all went to a local restaurant/bar for an open mic night. Kenny and Uncle sang a set. I ordered a triple bypass burger, 1/2 lb patty, pastrami,bacon, and onion rings. The burger was fantastic.
