Last night our tour got in at 11:45 PM, so we got up late today. We did all of our laundry for tomorrow’s departure and then headed out to Tokui sushi which is well known for its sushi value. We got there to a 20 person deep line, but we were at the counter within a couple of minutes. I got four rolls for three dollars apiece Australian, my total US cost $8.37! I finished my four rolls which were fantastic, well rolled, tight & stayed together when I bit into them, and tasted delicious. They also have assorted packs of nigiri, 4 pieces and 3 pieces of roll. I decided to try that as well @ $5.58 in US dollars how could I not? The roll with rice, egg and seaweed was sweet and very tasty, the salmon nigiri was extremely fresh and a good portion to spicy tuna rolls are also good size and tasty. I give five stars all around. We talked to one of our workers who is very proud of her product. She states that they sell out every day.
After a delicious lunch, we jumped on a train and headed to the national Gallery of Victoria, which has free admission. Walking through the European collection I am amazed at how far Europe has fallen away from the Christian faith
We next walk to the botanical gardens, passing sculptures and a variety of attractive trees on the way
The Kings Dominion Ferngully is a beautiful collection of volcanic rock, stone steps, and multiple types of fern and other water plant
We arrived at the botanical gardens and enjoyed the many varieties of flowers. We only looked at about a quarter of it before deciding to head back to the hotel.
After the war memorial, we decided we had to get some gelato after all we haven’t eaten in a few hours, and this is on one of the most eat lists I have seen.
