Today is an activity day. We started off with an adventure on the shot over river jet boats. These boats can travel in less than 10 cm of water. They have a flat bottom and are able to do 360 spins. Their speed is about 65 miles per hour.
After the thrilling jet boots, we walked around the Christchurch downtown area where a craft fair was being held. Many local vendors had handmade items.
Next we went on the Lord of the rings 4 x 4 tour. We saw some of the sites where scenes were filmed. It was OK. There was some good scenery, but not my favorite tour as of yet.
I ended the night with some of BarrÃa tacos before heading back to the hotel and going to sleep
