1st post completion hike, Acorn Ranch

I haven’t walked any trails since completing the PCT. Today is my first height since that momentous endeavor. 


I met up with my Hiking Group for an 8 mile foothills hike. 



We covered about 1200 feet elevation in the acorn ranch area of the Sacramento river conservancy. 




We stopped for lunch at the Highpoint, which gave a beautiful view of the South Fork American river.





I really like being able to look back at my PCT hike through the blog and think I am going to continue making entries on each of my hikes moving forward. I hope you all enjoy the scenery and stories of what I see.
