Day 30 A zero doing nothing

 Beds, how amazing is a bed!

And a shower oh my gosh. Scrubbed down with soap three separate times before water ran clear. I feel sympathy for who has to wash the washcloth as it is now Brown.

Last night we walked across the street for a steak dinner followed by caramel cheesecake. 

This morning got up and had breakfast at the hotel.

Just laid in bed most of the day resting.

We did reach out to a local Trail angel named tie-dye who was amazing. He picked us up at the hotel, took us to get lunch, Walmart for our food resupply Big 5 for my new pants and swung by his house for a couple canisters of stove fuel that somebody had left. The heart that God has given the Trail angel‘s is truly special.

We got back to the hotel, laid all the food out on our beds, sorted it re-packaged it prepared meals and put it in daily bags.

New switch outs for me. My pants are starting to wear through. They are going bye-bye replaced with a new pair of gray ones. My shoes are at 350 miles are being retired and replaced with a new black pair of ultras.

We then got our packs ready to go for tomorrow and headed out to dinner.

Back to the hotel good night.
